Patients infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and/or hepatitis C virus (HCV) or hepatitis B virus (HBV) have traditionally been considered high-risk recipients for transplantation. Recent advances have had a significant effect on the potential transplant candidacy of these patients. Abstract

Patients infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and/or hepatitis C virus (HCV) or hepatitis B virus (HBV) have traditionally been considered high-risk recipients for transplantation.
