Aim of the study was the clinical evaluation of an oral multi-ingredient formula characterized by the presence of anthocyanosides, procyanidolic oligomers, triterpenes, along with a local therapy with metronidazole (gel1 %) in the treatment of acne rosacea. Results got in 35 subjects show how such a formu/4 is endowed with a clear antinflammatory action and how its use reduces, in some cases halting it, papules and pimples. Its association with metronidazole allows appreciable results already after 1 month of treatment and the disappearance of symptoms, in 50% of cases, after 2 months and, in almost all patients, after 4 months. Its efficacy is likely due to the synergistic pharmacological role played by each actives of the formula.
