The book contains contributions by experts in stucco sculpture who spoke in the conference which took place in Dublin, Trinity College, april 2010. It involved Art Historians from Ireland, Great Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and Czech Republic. The stucco works examined - with many new documentary evidences on chronology and authors - show once again the important role of Lakes Artists in the developement of new languages between XVIth and XVIIIth century.
