Abstract
We investigate - through a theoretical model - whether and when the payment of unemployment benefits could affect the efficiency of the job search system, i.e. the ability of search and intermediation institutions to select the most productive workers for the vacant job places. The indicator provided implies the examination of some properties of the order statistics that can be relevant in several theoretical problems concerning search activity.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
