The aim of this paper is to investigate the literary investigations of Guenther Anders in the horizon of his philosophical thinking. Starting from Anders’s thesis about the “humanity without world”, the paper analyzes his interesting remarks about Brecht’s literary theory and theatre works, about the poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke, about the literature of Alfred Döblin, and most of all about the masterpieces of Kafka. Thought the four authors, and thank to this approach, it becomes clear the importance of the literary remands to understand Anders’s philosophical concepts of the humanity without world, and also, thought Anders’ reading of Beckett’s pieces, of the forthcoming apocalyptic image of a world without the humanity.
