This chapter will discuss the main features and caveats related to some of the typical astrophysical problems. We will discuss applications of the chemistry at zero- and very-low-metallicity during high-redshift structure formation (first stars, galaxies, and SMBH), and in metal-polluted gas, together with the effects due to the presence of X-ray and UV radiation in the first galaxies. We will then examine the modeling of the star-forming regions, and the prestellar cores, focusing on the chemistry and the thermal processes. Finally, we will discuss the thermochemistry in the different parts of a protoplanetary disk.

Abstract
This chapter will discuss the main features and caveats related to some of the typical astrophysical problems. We will discuss applications of the chemistry at zero- and very-low-metallicity during high-redshift structure formation (first stars, galaxies, and SMBH), and in metal-polluted gas, together with the effects due to the presence of X-ray and UV radiation in the first galaxies. We will then examine the modeling of the star-forming regions, and the prestellar cores, focusing on the chemistry and the thermal processes. Finally, we will discuss the thermochemistry in the different parts of a protoplanetary disk.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
