Appunti per una metodica nello studio dei reati contro il patrimonio culturale

Legal language defines Cultural Heritage like a polysemous concept – now a cultural asset, now a landscape asset. This semantic ambiguity does not cease to be such under the lens of the criminal lawyer, called to turn his gaze to crimes against Cultural Heritage in their dual dimension, legal and empirical. However, methodological issues in criminal matter needs greater attention, in light of the complexity of the object of study, in a context of strong cultural, legal and ethical contrasts. On these premises, this essay intends to suggest an easy toolkit through which to explore the renewed epistemological framework, in the awareness that faced with the new realities of the criminal law universe it is necessary to test the most effective approach.
