Note metodologiche per l'organizzazione di un servizio di counselling

Deriving its methodologies and techniques from the most important and accredited models proposed in the internatiomal environment, eclectic-integrated counselling has turned out to be, in practice, an extremely useful approach in varying contexts, All such contexts are characterised by the need to come up with immediate, concrete, specific and personalised help, through a clinical interview, to people who find themselves in difficulties for different reasons. After reviewing a recent definition of counselling and summarizing the characteristics that define such an intervention in the eclectic-integrated approach, this paper presents a flow chart that illustrates the methodological and organizational aspects that should guarantee the smooth running of the counselling service. In both the clinical practical field and the training of operators, the model has shown its efficiency and its ability to satisfy the needs of the users. The future is still open as to whether it will be necessary to identify, and apply, sound methodologies and tools to check the efficiency of the interventions.
