A DSS is proposed to quantify risk due to transport of dangerous substances: road, rail, pipeline and inland waterways. The aim of the work is the evaluation of population global risk (n. subject / year) and individual risk (yearly probability/ person). It allows the comparison of risk distribution in different solutions of dangerous substances transportation, permitting the user to decide what course of action to follow with the aim to minimize transport risk distribution on territory

Abstract
