In this presentation, the possibility to optimize the technique of ghost imaging in this macroscopic regime is studied. It is known that the large number of photons generated at each pump shots leads to a deterioration of the visibility with respect to the coincidence (low gain) regime because of the appearance of a high background level which tends to hide the imaging information. However it will be shown that such a drawback can be fully compensated by performing spatial averages on the single pump shot in addition to temporal averages on different shots.

Abstract
In this presentation, the possibility to optimize the technique of ghost imaging in this macroscopic regime is studied. It is known that the large number of photons generated at each pump shots leads to a deterioration of the visibility with respect to the coincidence (low gain) regime because of the appearance of a high background level which tends to hide the imaging information. However it will be shown that such a drawback can be fully compensated by performing spatial averages on the single pump shot in addition to temporal averages on different shots.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
