The modern society must face with different problems but one of the most important regards the waste management and greenhouse effects. One solution could be the production of solid recovered fuel from the waste remaining after the selective collection and its use in cement factory as a substitute to pet-coke. The present paper analyses some economical aspects of this solution, taking into account the improvement of the cement factory off-gas treatment line. Results demonstrate that this proposal in viable form the environmental, economic and energetic point of view.
