The aim of this article is to analyze new trends in the fashion sector, focusing on the importance of the circular economy. Sustainability is now a highly topical issue, involving all sectors. The green fashion movement arouses a growing interest aimed at promoting a production that is attentive to the protection of the environment and the consumer. The fashion industry has a strong impact on the world economy and on the natural environment, for this reason it is necessary for companies in the sector to integrate the opportunities offered by the circular economy. The careful choice of raw materials, the knowledge of the production phases of the production chains, allow to use a new approach to production. A structured production system, in order to be able to self-regenerate, consume two different types of operations: on the one hand, to recycle products so that they are reintegrated into the environment and on the other, to have products destined to be revalued without entering in the environment. At the end of the work some successful examples of companies that concern the fashion field and that have applied the circular economy are presented.
