We investigated the response of a 3″ × 3″ (7.62 cm × 7.62 cm) LaBr3:Ce detector to monochromatic protons within an energy range of 70-230 MeV. The experiment was performed at the new cyclotron at the Cyclotron Centre Bronowice (CCB) of the Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics, Krakow, Poland. Protons with energies between 70 and 185 MeV were stopped inside the crystal. Three different values of PMT high voltage were used, in each case, the energy resolution, the quenching factor with respect to the gamma rays were measured. In addition, the anode pulses were acquired for both gamma rays (from a CmC source) and protons and the comparison between them will be shown.

Abstract
In addition, the anode pulses were acquired for both gamma rays (from a CmC source) and protons and the comparison between them will be shown.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
