The Authors present a personal technique of vulva reconstruction after extended excision: it consists in the use of gracilis musculocutaneous flaps after longitudinal splitting of the distal muscle belly. This tool allows to obtain enough tissue to cover pubic symphisis, to protect external iliac and epigastric vessels and to fill inguinal dead spaces. Clinical results are good, particularly concerning the problem of abdominal dehiscences.

Abstract
The Authors present a personal technique of vulva reconstruction after extended excision: it consists in the use of gracilis musculocutaneous flaps after longitudinal splitting of the distal muscle belly. This tool allows to obtain enough tissue to cover pubic symphisis, to protect external iliac and epigastric vessels and to fill inguinal dead spaces. Clinical results are good, particularly concerning the problem of abdominal dehiscences.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
