The concept of Galactic Habitable Islands (GHI) we have proposed at the IAC 2020 refer to some locations in our Galaxy outside of the “standard” Galactic Habitable Zone (GHZ) that could be favorable to the development of life. According to numerical simulation models from recent years, indeed, life could have emerged at the outskirts of the galactic disk. Also, thanks to recent observations, there are some indications that some zones suitable to life have been emerged in the galactic center and in the outer part of the Milky Way. In this paper, some numerical simulations will be run. It is the starting point to identify more zones suitable to life.
