We come back on the dynamical properties of $k$-essential cosmological models and show how the interesting phenomenological features of those models are related to the existence of boundaries in the phase space related to two distinct energy conditions. We also explain how to deal with the branching points where the energy density is either maximal or minimal and uncover the possibility that the arrow of time is reversed.

Abstract
We come back on the dynamical properties of $k$-essential cosmological models and show how the interesting phenomenological features of those models are related to the existence of boundaries in the phase space related to two distinct energy conditions. We also explain how to deal with the branching points where the energy density is either maximal or minimal and uncover the possibility that the arrow of time is reversed.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
