In this study the spectral characteristics of aortic and renal blood flow velocities and their link to arterial blood pressure have been evaluated in freely moving rats. The analysis showed a specific spectral pattern for each flow velocity with a predominance of the fastest spectral components in the renal flow. Significant correlations were found by the coherence function between blood pressure and renal flow in a frequency band around 0.3 Hz.

Abstract
In this study the spectral characteristics of aortic and renal blood flow velocities and their link to arterial blood pressure have been evaluated in freely moving rats. The analysis showed a specific spectral pattern for each flow velocity with a predominance of the fastest spectral components in the renal flow. Significant correlations were found by the coherence function between blood pressure and renal flow in a frequency band around 0.3 Hz.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
