Cross-cultural communication between China and Italy requires specific knowledge and competences. Scientific literature related to intercultural interaction demonstrates that it is impossible to ignore the impact of non-verbal signals on communication. By analyzing some Chinese words and idiomatic expressions, it is possible to find many non-verbal implications that can affect the efficiency of the communication process.

Abstract

Cross-cultural communication between China and Italy requires specific knowledge and competences. Scientific literature related to intercultural interaction demonstrates that it is impossible to ignore the impact of non-verbal signals on communication.
