Several studies have explored how artistic experiences can serve as effective tools to enhance patient compliance throughout the treatment process. However, the effectiveness of art, in its various forms of expression, in training healthcare professionals has rarely been examined. The contribution presents an experience involving the training of healthcare professionals in the realm of selfcare through the use of various expressive channels: ranging from painting to music, and from cinema to sculpture. The training experience was complemented by qualitative research aimed at investigating the effectiveness of art-based teaching methods. Within the constraints of the sample analyzed, it becomes evident how art fosters a more profound and intricate reflection on one's personal and professional experiences.
