Proust lungo un secolo. Cronaca di un centenario

The aim of this article is to analyse the many publications appeared during the Proust centenary in 2022. Since 2021, the date of the 150th anniversary of Marcel Proust’s birth, the writer has remained a topical figure, making his mark on both the French and Italian publishing worlds. In order to bring some order to this world of paper, it is important to distinguish between books that focus on Marcel Proust’s life, his biographies, and works that propose to unlock the potential of the Recherche through countless analytical tools and methods. The third part of the article is devoted to the proustians, who are responsible for the cult of Marcel Proust, but also for the chronicles and vices described in the Recherche, and above all the unwilling heirs of the famous Madame Verdurin and her exclamation: “On fera clan!”.
