This chapter focuses on carbonylative reactions promoted by second row transition metals, a field dominated by zirconium-, silver-, and molybdenum-catalyzed processes. The further classification of the procedures for each metal was made in accordance with the different reaction pathway. In this context, special attention has been given to metal-catalyzed carbonylation reactions at intra- and intermolecular levels, where zirconium, silver, or molybdenum metals are involved as the effective carbonylation promoter or in bimetallic carbonylation systems.

Abstract
This chapter focuses on carbonylative reactions promoted by second row transition metals, a field dominated by zirconium-, silver-, and molybdenum-catalyzed processes. The further classification of the procedures for each metal was made in accordance with the different reaction pathway. In this context, special attention has been given to metal-catalyzed carbonylation reactions at intra- and intermolecular levels, where zirconium, silver, or molybdenum metals are involved as the effective carbonylation promoter or in bimetallic carbonylation systems.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
