Abstract
The Authors have been, for several years, involved in international cooperation development projects. Within these activities, they have developed different initiatives concerning planning aspects and plant realizations related to biofuels application to rural areas. Most of these projects are concerned with the production of renewable energies to meet the power needs of rural isolated communities, and among these the production of biofuels from biomass. These projects, regarding sustainable development in energy production and economic self-sufficiency, partly already realized and partly currently in progress, are located in Africa and Brazil.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
