The article analyzes the relationship between religious freedom and prison rewards that can be granted to prisoners for mafia crimes, starting with the recent Supreme Court ruling No. 21355 of 2023. The ruling stands on the path opened by Judgment No. 253 of 2019 of the Constitutional Court. The note also helps to briefly reflect on the possible connection of carceral premia/religious freedom/terrorist offenses committed by people of the Muslim faith.
